The 3 rd Sister Song
”I swam up the river and,
while deep in the dreams of my own,
castles peeped out amid forests on land
and fields where green vines were grown.
Bunches of grapes so sour and sweet,
birds in the sky singing: twee-twee-twee-tweet...
The sun was baking, for chill I was striving
Cool happiness is the pleasure of diving...
In a creek I saw children at play
naked they were on a sunshining day
laughing , bathing so joyfull, delighted
dashing and splashing with pleasure excited
but they caught sight of me and then they
got frightened, stopped playing and ran away
A little black beast barked brutely at me
so I too got scared and rushed back to the sea...
"Oh sisters of birth
a paradise on earth!”
